We are a fully equipped, 2 DVM, AAHA-accredited mall animal hospital located in Nassau County, Long Island. As a staple in the community for almost 60 years, we have a loyal client following and a reputation for providing the highest quality veterinary services to dogs and cats in the area. In addition to diagnostic and preventative services, our hospital is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, cold therapy laser, and CryoProbe, and was one of the first Low Stress Handling hospitals on Long Island. Our hospital has a fun, family-like atmosphere that offers flexibility, freedom, and growth potential. Dr. Sue Fischman and Dr. Olivia Drutjons partner as Co-Medical Directors to offer the highest quality standard of care for our patients and operate a leading animal hospital. Who are we looking for?We are seeking an individual (or individuals) to join our practice as an Associate Veterinarian, on either a part-time or full-time basis. The ideal candidate is someone who strives to provide the best possible care for patients and wants an opportunity to learn and drive the growth of our hospital.

We are currently a 2 Doctor practice looking to build our team. Our hospital encourages teamwork, continuing education, team consultation, and the highest quality care. We make it a priority to ensure our whole team has a positive work-life balance tailored to their individual needs. Our dedicated, long-tenured and well-trained support staff play a critical role in helping to make the client, patient and doctor experience the best it possibly can be.

Candidates with a strong interest in surgery, dentistry, preventative medicine and general practice are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Current NY State Veterinary License
  • DVM, VMD or Equivalent Degree
